Meet young entrepreneurs from across Europe

Madrid, connecting young entrepreneurs from across Europe

After the success of the previous editions at Thessaloniki, Budapest, Katowice, London, Rome, Athens and Stockholm, Madrid takes over the 8th European Youth Entrepreneurship Conference (EYEC).

The goal of this conference is to update attendees on the 2017-18 plan of action and continue the revamping of Yes for Europe organization, making sure that Young Entrepreneurs in Europe are well connected and have a strong, collective voice.

This year it will take place in Madrid, one of the major hub of tech startups in Europe. Participation fee is 100 EUR and includes:

  • Welcome drink on Wednesday
  • Lunch Thursday and Friday
  • Coffee/tea for Thursday and Friday
  • Dinner Thursday
  • Seminars and study visits
  • NOT Included Dinner on Friday
1. Walk along the Gran Vía
The city’s main tourist artery runs the famous Metrópolis building to the Plaza de España. Shops, bars and even a casino line this wide street that stretches for more than a kilometre.
2. Visit big museums and small galleries

The Museo del Prado, the Reina Sofía and the Thyssen-Bornemisza are the three vertices that make up this traingle that is right on the Paseo del Prado.

3. Take in the city’s best views

The Madrid skyline is one of the most attractive in Spain. And if there’s a perfect place to take it all in, it’s from the rooftop terrace at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in C/ Alcalá.

4. Tour the city’s parks

You might not realise it, but Madrid has a lot of green spaces. The biggest one is the Casa de Campo, with 1,700 hectares (6.6 sq mi) – five times bigger than New York’s Central Park

5. The Paseo de la Castellana, from top to bottom

The Paseo de la Castellana is the axis that passes through the city from north to south along the Paseo del Prado and the Paseo de Recoletos. This is where you’ll find Madrid’s financial centre, exclusive shops and hotels, and even Spain’s most-visited stadium, the Santiago Bernabéu, home to the Real Madrid football club.

There is a metro line from Madrid city to the airport terminal T4: Metro Mine 8 Nuevos Ministerios – Aeropuerto T4. The line has two metro station at the airport.
